Nova Southeastern University hosted a campus tour and break out session on October 20, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Plantation High School, South Plantation High School and Stranahan High School. Mentees participated in NSU information, financial aid session and campus tour. Additionally, Mentees participated in break out sessions coordinated by the College of Arts and Sciences. The break out sessions allowed the students to sit in on a dance class, music class or drawing class at NSU. Women of Tomorrow would like to thank Professor Jennifer Donelson for organizing the break out sessions. Palm Beach Atlantic University hosted a campus tour and leadership workshop on October 30, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Glades Central High School and Boyd Anderson High School. Mentees participated in student leadership development group exercises aimed at promoting team building skills. Women of Tomorrow would like to thank Dr. Mary Ann Searle for her presentation on college selection and financial aid. Le Cordon Bleu University hosted a campus tour on November 3, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Miramar High School.
Lynn University in Boca Raton hosted a campus tour on November 6, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Wellington High School.
Florida International University South Campus hosted a campus tour on November 9, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Everglades High School, Miami Killian Sr. High School and G. Holmes Braddock Sr. High School.
Florida Atlantic University and Broward College Davie Campus hosted a campus tour on November 19, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Coral Springs High School, McArthur High School and Lanier-James Educational Center.
St. Thomas University once again hosted a campus tour on November 20, 2009 for WOT Mentees from Miami Coral Park Sr. High School, Booker T. Washington Sr. High School and North Miami Beach Sr. High School. Mentees participated in career presentations by representatives from the Biscayne College School of Law, the School of Business, and the College of Communication Arts and Leadership Studies. Women of Tomorrow would like to thank St. Thomas University President Rev. Monsignor Franklyn Casale, Professor Marcela Moyano-Rosero, Ms. Mercedes Pino, Esq., Ms. Sarah Tuskey and guest speaker Mentor Diana Altagracia Bien Aime, CEO/President of D.A.B.
